It's Texas Instruments (TI) - Those are the pics of the 4 founders (Cecil Green, Erik Jonsson, Eugene McDermott and Patrick Haggerty), GSI or Geophysical Service Inc was the parent company of TI before the name change. GI stands for General Instrument, another company which existed at that time. As a result, they had to name the company as General Instruments before the name changed to Texas Instruments.

Dont use google for this one. I work at HP Labs, so while digging up some company history, I found that in the 1960s, HP spun off a small company called Dynac, which specialized in producing digital equipment, and was later absorbed back by HP itself. The name Dynac would probably have stood for "Dynamics" or "Dynamic Electronics" or something of that sort, but what was the other MAJOR reason why this name was chosen?

The first pic is Ambrose Bierce, who wrote a satirical poem called The Decalogue. The second one is the logo of the National Rifle Association, which was for a long time headed by Charlton Heston, who played Moses in The Ten Commandments. And the third pic is Krzysztof Kieślowski, acclaimed Polish director of Dekalog, a series of ten movies, each based on a particular commandment.
