Answer:The CT scan, initially called EMI scan, was developed by EMI(Godfrey Hounsfeld was the scientist), the record company and they got the money for the research from the profits they got from The Beatles.

godfrey hounsfield developed the first CAT scanner while working with EMI and EMI is falously associated with the beatles as well..

Back in the 60's, the Beatles donated money to a scientist working at EMI Ltd., Godfrey Hounsfield, who with the money he got from them invented the CT scanner. On his speech after winning the Nobel Prize, he thanked the Beatles.

EMI Scan (developed by Electric & Musical Industries originally). EMI was the records company of the Beatles for a while.

EMI had enough money to research for the CT Scan machine because of the success of the Beatles
